VET Beer was founded by brothers, Parke and Derek Patterson. Their father, Gary Patterson, served in the Army for 23 years before retiring as Lt. Colonel and teaching JROTC for 12 years in Texas. Gary completed tours in Vietnam, the Dominican Republic, and Korea. Parke and Derek crisscrossed the country during their youth as Gary was stationed throughout the United States, eventually settling permanently in Texas. The two brothers created VET Beer as a way to give back to all those who have served us.
